A couple of weeks ago we had spirit week at our high school (were you dress up accordingly to each day's theme) and one of the days was “80’ days” and of course being the person I am I dressed up so well I looked like I just came out of John Hughes’s movie, totally radical. Then latter that day we started talking about how “weird” people from the 70’s and 80’s “used to be” and how “I wouldn’t never do that to my cloths and hair!” Then I commented how funny the 90’s were, since most of my friends were born between 88-92, basically bunch of 90’s child. And someone said that the 90’s were normal, that its really was no different from now. Ah,ha, well I guess you can say we haven’t change a lot of the way we talk and dress from the 90’s if you still dress like you cam out of “saved by The Bell” & “Beverley Hills 90210”, and you still say “Bangin'/Slammin, lets bounce, Gettin Jiggy, Man, I'm Slammin” which will be sad, but I must admit I still use some 90’s lingo, like “so”, “Straight Edge”, “Sweet”, “Tight” & Back In The Day , the '90s version of "When I was..." or "Remember when...?" But I do not have the Rachel haircut or the little plastic butterfly clips that girls, but I do still own my baby doll dresses and my Nirvana cds, lol. Its fun to remember the 90’s even most people can’t as well as I can, since for some reason I cant remember what I had for homework, or if I had homework, but I cant remember watching the movie “clues” and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and listened to U2, REM and Nirvana, very well. And who could ever forget the show Friends, that show was awesome!
