The Sound of Silence
Mood:  lyrical
Now Playing: Maniac- by Micheal Sembello (Flash Dance)
Topic: Other
I was thinking today, just thinking, me, myself and I. Mostly about noises, sounds, they way they make you feel. Strange. Mostly, like what kind of noises I like, sounds and much, much more. Like they are certain sounds, noises in this planet, world that make you react in one way or an other, Some good, and some bad. Some sounds are calming, pleasing to the ear, like the sound of a piano or maybe rain drops, the crunching of dry leaves in the floor or maybe, maybe even Enya, making those great, awesome whale-like noises she does when she sings, just great. But then they are just some sounds in this world that make be make to jump of a bridge, or even punch a baby, just the way it hits you, God forbids you are near a window, bridge or nursery when you hear this horrible, horrible noises. And what do I mean by this? Kevin Federline. Im not joking, but I swear I have an open mind, especially in music, I personally don’t like most music playing on MTV or Rap. Most of my friends really like new “rock” like Panic at the Disco, and, hey it’s great they like them, that’s great, after all it is a free world. And even I I dislike an artist enough I will would not rather talk about him or his work or just don’t listen to him, but this guy I swear I can’t describe it, it’s like hearing car alarm going on at 12 at night while you are trying to get some sleep, but worse, much worse. Is like the guy is under the impression that he has marginal talent and that someone, somewhere cares. If you can call what ever he records “music” it sound more like chickens being slaughtered by a dull chainsaw. The guy most have no problem dancing as if no one were watching or singing as if no one were listening, but only because they (we) are'nt. He's proof that God has a sense of humor. And no, I’m not beeing sarcastic.
